Mothers day card

My mum has been boasting to people about my cards, haven't disillusioned her that I steal most of my ideas from the lovely ladies at MSE

You can't really tell from the picture but the tree has been punched out using a leaf puncher and the flowers have been sprayed with shimmerz (still not convinced by this stuff, not sparkly enough for me). Am in love with the flowers which arrived today.
Watering can has been glossed with Anita's clear gloss finish

I am quite please with this card, have one more to make for MIL.

Isabelle my niece is sixteen in a couple of weeks and loves bags so I though that would be the basis of my card.
Spent two days deciding on the card stock to use for this card, It does not show very well in the photo but the flowers have been sprayed with glimmer spray
The gift bag looks a bit wonky and it is slightly but as she is my first niece I think she will forgive me lol

My adopted sister's twins are one this week, as she had a boy and a girl I tried to do a blue/pink theme. Think I achieved that with these gorgeous October Afternoon papers.

We don't really buy valentines presents for each other, but having not really played with my scor pal properly yet I followed an instruction for a box on their website and cannot believe how easy it was, must have taken me under 5 minutes from start to finish

Boyfriends valentines card, I was dying to put ribbons and flowers on this card but thought it was girly enough so left it fairly bare.
He didn't really comment on it lol but I love the papers and image anyway

Dad Birthday Card

My dad is a train buff always has been so when I found this digital image from Mo I knew it would be good for his card.
The engine front is highlighted with glossy accents,
and for the steam I have used liquid applique.

PS3 Birthday cake

Me and my Sister in law wanted to try and make a PS3 cake for my other half's birthday last friday.
We made a marble cake and dyed some icing black, the whole thing only took us 6 hours from start to finish lol.
At least my other half was pleased with the cake
