Summer texture card

My texture card for card swap for Sarah over at MSE. For this card I have used cork for the sand with a new die I have purchased, the sea waves are from the same die but turned upside down. Image has been cut out and I have paper pierced her swimming costume. The Clouds I have added some crushed velvet flock to make them fluffy.
The bucket has been dotted with pearl pen and the shells I have added glitter.
Image Pure Innocence fun in the sun

Die cut is Die-namics

Kraftin Kimmie Card

Another Birthday card. For this card I have used Kraftin Kimmie Can-Can, I found it a right pain to stamp though but got there in the end
Image has been coloured with promarkers and there is a bit of glitter added (although you can't tell from the rubbish picture) The lipstick didn't look that bright in real life either
DP Tim Holtz Vintage shabby (totally in love with it)
Ribbon is from my stash

The flower is from wildorchidcrafts and I have added some glitter to it.
Ribbon is fancypantsdesigns
Grass punch is from MFT

DP Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety (well it had to be!)
Spade charm is from Quixotic Paperie

Thought it was about time I used some of my penny black stamps. I have far too many I haven't used yet. I have gone around the outside of the twirls with Pearl pen. Ribbon went on slightly wonky and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't correct it... oops.

Black and white tilda

The challenge over at MSE is to try a new technique. I have seen loads of monochrome on other blogs and wanted to give it a go.
Not over all happy with the colouring but it is a start I guess.
Tilda has been coloured with ice grey pro markers, her tiara has been coloured with holo iridescent glitter liner
I cut out the image and have used her on my new Marianne design nestie.

Baby cards

For these cards I have used DCWV nursery paper stack that I found reduced at Dunelm. The images have been very kindly donated by the lovely Sarah over at MSE (Aren't they gorgeous?) And I am going to have to get this stamp.
The babies hats and towel have been coated with crushed velvet, the charms are from Quixotic Paperie and obviously are not meant to be bent like they are.
The ribbon is from a sale at my local craft shop. The sentiment is also a bargain from Dunelm and has been inked with distress inks.
3 Babies in the family so that's one craft down and about 3 more to go.

Ballerina

This is the altered picture frame I have made for my niece who is doing her second ballet show. She has gone from holding the teachers hand because she was so shy to her second show dancing all by herself.
I painted the frame with acrylic paint, then painted distress crackle paint then finished it off with rubbing distress ink on it.
The picture doesn't show it clearly but the ballet shoes have been cut from K&CO paper glossed then stuck on.
The fairy images are from stitchy stamps which I have cut out then added glamour dust to. The flowers are from wildorchidcrafts and I have added stickles glitter to them. I altered her name onto glitter pink paper.

The card is tilda ballerina (of course). I paper pierced her dress onto sparkly pink card and added some stickles glue to the flowers, the edges I have distressed with tattered rose distress ink

This is my challenge card over at MSE, the challenge is to use lilac or purple.
The image is a stamp I have received from someone so don't know what it is.
I have glittered her wings with shimmerz and her hair band has been glittered.
DP Basic Grey Green at heart
Ribbon from stash, bow made with my bow easy template, made courtesy of You-tube, what would I do without that!!

Have been wanting to use these papers for a while, thought they went quite well with the bunny stamp. Added a bit of bling on the flowers by putting some gems on them
