Male cards

This is a card I have made for my OH birthday, he has a reputation for being the world's worst dancer, true I am afraid, old ladies quiver in fear when he is on the dance floor lol. The image is really supposed to be playing the air guitar but he does tend to have some 'interesting' dance moves. I have embossed the sentiment to make it stand out a bit more. I have inked around the image and sentiment. I have stitched around the card using my new sew easy, not perfect as some of the threads are a bit loose but I'm sure my OH wont mind me using his card as a trial run

Buttons from my stash

This card is for my dad, I knew I was going to use these papers as he has been mad on trains all his life, and worked for them all his working life too. I know the image is a bit babyish but hope the sentiment kind of brings it together.

I think the image is Mo Manning but not sure

Thinking of you card

I made this card for someone who is going through a hard time at the moment. I saw the gorgeous card on Sarah blog and new I wanted to try and make one. I followed the tutorial and didn't even have to try again lol it was that easy (or shouldn't I fess up to normally making a hash of it!!)
As soon as I saw the sentiments from LOTV I knew they would be perfect for the card. I have put some chocolates inside the card

I would like to enter my card into some challenges but I'm way too tired coming off nights lol, hopefully will edit this tomorrow

Jelly Baby soaps

I got the idea for jelly baby soaps from the Crafting for Christmas thread over on MSE. It's the first time I have ever made soaps and I was secretly quite pleased with them. You are supposed to spray the soap and dishes with alcohol rub?? or something but as I didn't have anything I sprayed them with vodka :)
Didn't quite work as they are a bit bubbly on the back but all in all I am really pleased and will be making some different soaps for presents this year.

Thank you card

A thank you card I made for family for Christmas presents. I am obviously rubbish at taking pictures as the card and paper lowers are silver but they look gold in the photo. I have coloured the flowers with my silver pro marker and have used papers and sentiment from a secret santa present from the lovely Jennie

Lets get krafty

I made these as part of secret santa presents over on MSE. I can just imagine the person having loads of basic grey papers all over her desk and thought these images were perfect for a crafty person.
I have paper pierced the table and coloured the image with pro markers.
The backpack was made from a template, I can't find it in the mess of my room so don't remember whose template it is. It was a bit of a faff to put together but I got there in the end. I put chocolates inside the pockets as that was part of the wish list. I lost my velcro pads when I tided my craft room so had to compromise with some thick DST to stick them down.
I am glad you liked your present Sarah.
